A family-run Montessori home on Royal Montreal Drive.
Best Kids Academy was founded by two Taiwanese educators who emigrated to Texas to share authentic Montessori with their new community — and is now led by their three sons. We welcome children ages 1–5 into our Montessori preschool, and ages 6–11 into our before- and after-school enrichment and summer camp. Complimentary daily Mandarin is woven into our extended-day programs.
Our Philosophy
We believe a child is not an empty vessel to be filled, but a whole person with the inner drive to grow. Our role is to prepare an environment where that growth can flourish — and then to step gracefully out of the way.
Every material on our shelves has been chosen with intention. Every routine — from pouring water, to greeting a friend, to a Chinese lesson — is a chance to practice care, dignity, and grace.
Our classrooms are clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully prepared each day. Steady routines, attentive supervision, and warm parent communication help every child feel safe, known, and at home.

Chinese, Spanish, music & sports
Enrichment is woven into the day: Mandarin with Ms. Helen, Spanish & art with Ms. Silvia, piano, chess, basketball and Kidokinetics.
Lunch & snacks included
Hot lunches on a rotating menu — penne & meatballs, organic turkey sandwiches, chicken fried rice, cheese pizza Fridays — served with fresh fruits or vegetables, and milk every day.
After-school pickup
We pick up from Katy ISD campuses within a 6-mile radius — including early dismissal days.
Holiday care & camps
$50/day Holiday Care on select Katy ISD closures, plus Thanksgiving, Winter Break, and Spring Break camps.
